Due to a number of Directors having direct personal and family issues
out of their control, it has been decided to return the Practical
Martial Arts site back to being the resource that
we all know and love.

England National Director, Dave Baker has worked hard on producing
and promoting the Practical JuJitsu™ syllabus. Thanks to his
stirling work, Practical Martial Arts™ is pleased to announce
that Practical JuJitsu™ has now been officially recognised
as a martial art in its own right!
Practical Martial Arts™ is proud to announce that Morne Swanapoel,
South African National Director, has started work on producing a
Practical Jeet Kune Do syllabus™. More news when we have it!
This is truly a coup for Practical Martial Arts™.
Morné is a full time coach and practitioner and is certified
as one of the most qualified Jeet Kune Do (JKD) instructor’s
in the world. Travelling more than 40 times to International destinations
in the past 10 years and featuring in almost every media medium
in South Africa the past couple of years, Morné has become
one of the leading figures in realistic Martial Arts today. Morné
has also travelled the world to train with top martial artists and
to gain the experience he now boasts of today.
After being featured in several major international leading Martial
Arts magazines, something that no other South African has ever achieved,
Morné now spends his time writing monthly columns for Website’s
and Magazines worldwide sharing the philosophy with thousands. Morné
has a passion for training and coaching, which he does almost 7
days a week while conducting seminars and producing his own Instructional
Multimedia productions.

A bold statement perhaps but we have recently added another two
clubs to our Singapore Branch! Considering that we have only advertised
on the Internet and by word of mouth this growth is astounding!
We are most definitely looking forward to seeing what 2003 will

General Choi Hong Hi, founder of TKD as we know it has sadly passed
away. Although often controversial, he was still a great man in
his single-minded determination to bring TKD to the attention of
the world. He succeeded and will forever be remembered for these
efforts. May he rest in peace.
