Matthew Sylvester, the Founder and Chief Instructor of Practical Martial Arts is a profilic writer, Features Editor, columnist, and contributor for such mainstream magazines as ‘Combat’, ‘Taekwondo & Korean Martial Arts’, ‘Traditional Karate’ and ‘Fighters’. He also writes for Iain Abernethy’s ‘Jissen’ as well as his own newsletter.
Having interviewed stars such as Randy Couture, Rich Franklin and Dana White from the UFC, Bill ‘Superfoot’ Wallace and famed Masters such as Choi Jung Hwa, Parm Rai, Tony Vohra; and numerous deserving martial artists such as Don Klass, Alex ‘Pukka’ Campbell and Ed Lofts, Matthew has a knowledge of martial arts and the people behind them far exceeding that of the average martial artist.
