As of February 2009, Exeter Practical Martial Arts will be introducing an Adult’s PMA Elite Club.
Classes will now be split. Rather than running for 1.5 hours, standard classes will run for 1 hour. Standard classes will be £5 per hour (cash in hand).
Members of the PMA Elite will be given an additional 30 minutes of training per night (totalling one extra hour per week), training for a total of 1.5 hours. This means that PMA Elite Members will have a higher number of Lesson Credits (vital if you want to grade), will do 33% more training and will also receive discounts on events, seminars and equipment costs.
Members will only be invited to join the PMA Elite after they have attended classes for 6 months with a minimum of 80% attendance. This is because it is a commitment made by both the student and Practical Martial Arts to ensure that the student is well-prepared for their black belt grading. PMA Elite Members will pay £50 per month (the current fees).
