Well, the initial photoshoot is done and dusted and I can’t believe how long it took! We ‘only’ had to take 260 odd photos. However, what with cock-ups and reverse angles this grew to God knows how many.
I take my hat off to Ray. He spent seven hours getting hit, dumped, standing back up again and repeating ad infinitum. What with Karen suffering from a high temperature and Zak not even expecting to be in the book it has certainly been an eventful day. Lots of thanks to Karen, Zak and Ray for their time and patience. Only another 300 or so (in doboks) to go!
I will never read another technique book again without thinking about the effort that went into getting the photos for that book. If you’ve never done it, you truly can’t appreciate just how much effort goes in.
Oh yeah, the picture of me punching Ray in the face, and Ray’s face rippling with the power is real. My foot stuck and when I hit him, I hit him. Classic moment.
