Disclaimer

Ishin Ryu Ju-Jitsu was founded in January 1990 by its Chief Instructor, Soke Kevin Pell, Kyoshi, 7th Dan.

This no nonsense style of Ju-Jitsu was the culmination of over 37 years of martial arts experience and cross-training by Kevin Pell in the arts of JuJitsu, Shorinji-Kempo, Judo, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Iaido and Kyokushinkai Karate. Ishin Ryu JuJitsu is a modern and constantly evolving martial art, yet the system proudly embraces the best of its Japanese heritage and traditions.

From its humble beginnings, with just 7 adults training on the first night at the Borehamwood dojo in Hertfordshire, Ishin Ryu JuJitsu has today become one of the largest and most prestigious multi-style martial art organisations in Europe. The organisation currently embraces the disciplines of JuJitsu, Judo, Karate-Jutsu, Tae Kwon Do, Kobudo, Kempo, Traditional Karate, Submission Grappling and Freestyle martial arts.

Ishin Ryu JuJitsu currently has in excess of 8,000 students training regularly throughout it's dojos throughout the United Kingdom, Portugal, Norway, Spain and Ghana.
